পছন্দসই একটি গাছ খুঁজে পেল সে এবং সেটিকে কাটবার জন্য যখন উদ্যত, তখন কিন্তু গাছটি মানুষের কণ্ঠে কেঁদে উঠে বলল:
“দয়া করে আমাকে কেটে ফেলবেন না। বিনিময়ে একদিন আমি আপনার উপকার করব।”
