“তিনি পাহাড় থেকে নামার পর, অনেক লোক তাঁর পেছনে চলতে লাগল।
এমন সময় একজন কুষ্ঠরোগী কাছে এসে তাঁকে প্রণাম করে বলল,
‘হে প্রভু, যদি আপনি চান, আপনি আমাকে শুচি করতে পারবেন।’
তিনি হাত বাড়িয়ে তাকে স্পর্শ করলেন এবং বললেন,
‘আমি চাই, তুমি শুচি হয়ে যাও।’
সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তার কুষ্ঠরোগ সেরে গেল।
তারপর যিশু তাকে বললেন,
‘দেখো, এই কথা কাউকে বলো না।
বরং যাজকের কাছে গিয়ে নিজেকে দেখাও
আর মোশির আদেশ অনুযায়ী উপহার দাও—
যেন এটা অন্যদের কাছে সাক্ষ্য হিসেবে থাকে।’”

“After He came down from the mountain, a large crowd followed Him.
Then a leper approached Him, bowed down and said,
‘Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.’
He stretched out His hand, touched him and said,
‘I am willing; be cleansed.’
Immediately, his leprosy was healed.
Then Jesus said to him,
‘See that you tell no one about this.
Instead, go and show yourself to the priest,
and offer the gift commanded by Moses—
as a testimony to them.’”
